I still havent used all of the features on this to their fullest. The volume adjustment and semitone adjustment are great when jamming along with songs, and the tempo adjuster is great for trying to learn tricky parts.

This app is killer. for those who want to make remixes, its worth every penny!! I recommend this app!

its so worth the one time fee I paid, it over delivers every time I use it, I just wanted it to help learning songs at first but every time I think it would be cool if had this or that feature it usually does, I really have found zero problems with the app. Just recently I found out I could import a file my guitar player sent me in an email straight into anytune and start learning and tweaking it, that really blew me away, so much so I felt I needed to write this review.

This app is awesome, stable, and all around most well thought out transcribing tool Ive ever used. Its amazing how far weve come from the rp50.

Had the app for more than a year, worked as advertised. However, in the last months of this year the app continued to slowly limit the number of tunes I own, that were eligible for anytunes. This, in spite that I have had the same library for the past 5 years. Now the number of tunes eligible for anytunes in my iPhone is 2, out of several 100 that I have uploaded to iTunes. Blaming iTunes is no excuse. You should refund people that bought your app and now can not play anything on it. There should be a big warning explanation to thise that want to buy it in the iTunes app store. What a ripoff from both Apple and Anytunes. The app is now deleted from my iPhone. Will look for another way to avoid using iTunes to play MUSIC I OWN.

This app is perfect for learning songs and practicing them. Incredibly powerful, the tutorials will expose it, use them and you will be very happy with this program.

I use app every day in my practice. I have been using it for about a year and a half now. The ability to slow down the music helps me hear how the drums fit in, and allows me to work slowly at first until I fully understand the combinations being used, and until I can do the combinations well enough to speed up the tempo. The feature of being able to select a section to repeat over and over as many times as needed, at the tempo that is needed in order to master the section, makes this a valuable practice tool. I dont play in a band, so it helps me play with other musicians. Most valuable practice tool outside of the kit and the sticks. Well worth the price.

Update: I started to do a rating and found that I rated this a couple of years ago. So I thought Id do a brief update. I almost never write reviews, so its a testimony to this app that I was willing to review it--twice. I use it nearly every day to help me practice my violin and also my fiddle (same instrument, but different styles of playing). Im about an advanced beginner on violin, and expect to use this app for years to come! Original Review: I just discovered this slow-downer app, and its a great app. The basic function works well--slowing down a tune without distortion. Theres also an option to raise or lower the pitch of a song. Theres also a cool feature that can automatically replay and increase the speed of a song, a little bit more with each play. File organization of songs is alphabetical and very easy. I can import songs from iTunes, and I can also easily import songs that Ive recorded with my iPad of my teacher playing. (I think I can also record her with this app, but I havent learned how yet.) Its a great practice tool. My only minor complaint is that the "dashboard" has so many features that theyre a bit crowded together and its taking me some time to figure out what icon does what function. I had been using another slow downer, which was a little simpler and worked well, but importing and organizing songs was not intuitive and my teachers songs were hard to find on the song lists. I definitely recommend this app over the other popular app.

My own music that I wrote and loaded into iTunes...cant even load it into Anytune. Pretty expensive icon I have now!

I play guitar, this app is great tool to help me learn new songs! Bug free, intuitive, on pitch, love it!

For the study and transcription of great jazz arrangements and performances, this app has been brilliant. The features, which include scrubbing, looping, changing tempo while maintaining pitch, and even changing pitch while maintaining tempo, have made this tool vital to my training and practice.

Maintains great quality at all speeds and pitches. A must have for all musicians! Dont wait! This makes life so much easier. One of the best apps I own.

I cant imagine it being any better. It has so many tools to help even the most challenged transcribers. Like me!

Anytune is my default music player because it is a the best. Eq, speed changing, pitch changing, playlists editing, you name it. Thank you Anytune, this update makes it better than ever!

An absolutely amazing app for practicing and learning new music which can be slowed to allow picking out the individual parts, and allows the pitch to be altered in minute steps. Now my favorite app.
